Sketching at Stax

I had fun at the Stax Museum with the Urban Sketchers yesterday.

I also saw a performance of the Luther College Nordic Choir.
They are the best choir in the country, I'm told, and they were amazing. For the encore, they left the stage and stood around the audience in the aisles, holding hands. The songs they sang then were like incantations.

I'm working on a series of Memphis artist portraits. So far I've painted David Hall, Mary Jo Karimnia, Elizabeth Alley, Lester Merriweather, Joel Parsons, Tobacco Brown,  and Bienvenido Howard Romero.
